The objet petite a series is about desire, and the allure of the unattainable. The image is untouchable, just as the idea being sold within the commercial is untouchable. Commercials, lacking any reference point to the object being sold create an unattainable desire. That which is being sold is generic. Rather it is quiet luxury, safety, adventure. In the objet petite a series, I have refined and distilled the imagery from television ads to return these spaces back to their original state thus offering a space for an experience with the Sublime.
